It is still not too late to request your absentee ballot! If you will not be in the district on Election Day for any reason, you are eligible to vote absentee. Please send in or drop off your request for an absentee ballot as soon as possible. November 7th is less than 3 weeks away. Also, if you would prefer to vote early in person, early voting takes place at your Parish registrar's office from October 26-28 (Thurs.-Sat.) and October 30 and 31 (Mon. and Tues.). Early voting will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on those days.

The Melancon campaign is in full swing and ready for the final push through Election Day, but we need everyone to go out and vote.
