Melancon a "shoo-in" this fall

Now that we've chosen a mayor and City Council, let's start thinking about the next couple of elections. Too soon? I don't think so. The next round of the most important elections we will ever have will come next fall. Then on and on it goes. Reps. Bobby Jindal, R-Kenner, Charlie Melancon, D-Napoleonville, and Richard Baker, R-Baton Rouge, are all shoo-ins this fall. All they have to do to win is make certain they file on time to qualify and try not to mess up between now and November.
