Melancon Campaign Opens Napoleonville
Headquarters
NAPOLEONVILLE, LA: Congressman
Charlie Melancon was on hand for the Grand Opening of his main campaign
headquarters in downtown Napoleonville on Thursday night. Friends,
elected officials, campaign workers, and volunteers were in abundance
to celebrate the opening. Guests were treated with jambalaya and
white beans and given the chance to pick up campaign signs and bumper
stickers.
“It’s always good to see so many
friends and supporters at these events,” Melancon said. “Many of
these people have provided me with gracious support over the years,
and I couldn’t run this re-election campaign without them.”
Among the elected officials in
attendance were state Representatives Karen St. Germain of Pierre
Part and Bobby Faucheux, Jr. of Gramercy, St. Charles Parish President
Albert Laque, Terrebonne Parish Councilman Wayne Thibodaux, Assumption
Parish Assessor Cat Blanchard, St. John Parish Councilman Allen
St. Pierre, Assumption Parish Police Jurors Henry Dupre, Patrick
Lawless, and Calvin James, and Assumption Parish Constable Richard
Arcement.
The Napoleonville office will
serve as the central office for Congressman Melancon’s re-election
campaign. There will also be offices in New Iberia, Houma, and LaPlace.
The election will take place on November 7th.
